About the Art: Pebble Beach Golf Links is the site of one of the longest running PGA TOUR championships - the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, which began as The Bing Crosby National Pro-Am in 1947 and has been held annually ever since, raising to date more than $66 million dollars for charity. Pebble Beach Golf Links has also hosted 10 USGA Championships, beginning with the 1929 U.S. Amateur and became the first public-access course to host a U.S. Open in 1972. In 2010 it will host the U.S. Open for a fifth time - since 1972 no other course has hosted as many.
