Marjolein Bastin Signed by the Artist Limited Edition Paper Lithograph:"Autumn Celebration"

On a garden table outside my kitchen window, I created a wonderful, colorful fall "centerpiece"... all sorts of apples from the old orchard, and small red apples from a new tree my son gave me for my birthday. I loved the yellow and red colors so much, and left everything there for weeks, just to enjoy the season.

From time to time a leaf fell on the table, making the scene even more colorful. What a joy to be in the kitchen and look out over it! I ate the apples with my eyes. After a while, the Black Capped Chickadee discoered the apples and stared to eat them. I had no choice anymore: this was a new drawing.
