From the Artist: When it comes to my collage art, I like to take a surreal approach. I don't believe in guiding the viewer on what they should see. Instead, I design my pieces to intrigue the viewer and allow them to discover something new each time they look at it. One of my favorite pieces, Cosmic Energy from 2010, is a study of rich dark greens and whimsical circular shapes that were inspired by the planets in our solar system. The jewel-embellished discs draw your eyes to different places each time you look, while pops of colors add depth to the deep-space greens, bringing this celestial artwork to life.
