- There is no character more anticipated and jovial than Old St. Nick, and Zac Kinkade says he couldn't resist the chance to pay homage to this Christmas spirit through oil and canvas. From the red in his cheeks and the white in his beard to the gold in his buttons and twinkling blue eyes, this is the Father Christmas he has envisioned since childhood. Lying awake on Christmas Eve, waiting to hear the reindeer pause on his roof, was one of the best moments of his year. Looking out his window, trying to catch a glimpse of this jolly fellow, kept the magic alive in his heart throughout his youth. Although Zac saw his dad in the Santa suit he occasionally wore, Zac never saw the real deal clamoring down their chimney. His elusive nature never dissuaded Zac from trying to spy on Santa's whereabouts. He hopes this painting helps us imagine our sightings, and, as always, he thanks you for sharing his adventure in art.
