Little is known about the Venetian cartographer Antonio Zatta.
He flourished in northern Italy between 1775 and 1797 as a cartographer and publisher of atlases, including maps not only of the English, Scottish and Irish counties, but also of other areas around the world.
Between 1775 and 1785, his Atlante Novissimo was published, offering 218 world maps in four volumes.
