Once Park graduated, he traveled to France where he studied painting.

Park returned to France, where he spent the next fourteen years painting. He also briefly lived in Greece and Cyprus during that time. The French Impressionist style clearly inspired Park, which is reflected in his work. He continued to evolve his vision of hyper-realism and impressionism while living in Europe.
