Christian Title Artist Signed Limited Edition Serigraph on paper:"Morning Shadows"

Christian Title was born in Los Angeles, California in 1932. Christian studied at many different universities to gain knowledge to benefit his art. He began his academic studies in commercial art at the Los Angeles Art Center College of Design. He then continued his undergraduate degree at Woodbury College. While at Woodbury College, he submitted a portfolio of drawings and photographs to the Beaux-Arts Academie in Paris, France. In 1952, Title traveled to Paris and enrolled at the academy and the Sorbonne University.

In 1955, Christian graduates from Beaux-Arts Academie, and spends time sketching and painting at Academie Julian in the evenings. During this year, he also finished his thesis on French Impressionists and received his doctorate. In 1956, Christian Title returned to the United States.

Christian Title opened DeVille Galleries in 1957, while developing his own artist style. By 1962, Christian exhibits the American Impressionist painters in his gallery and is influenced by the exhibiting artists. During the following years, he focused his attention on art dealing and not until 1978 did he start painting full-time. Christian Title is known for painting landscapes, coastal views, and figurative images. He continues to live and paint in Malibu, California.
