John Barber Handsigned and Numbered Limited Edition Print "Crab Potting"

Artist: John Morton Barber
Title Crab Potting
Edition: S/N to 950 on paper
Image size: 12" x 22"
About the Art: Gwynn's Island was discovered by Col. Hugh Gwynn, who was granted a charter for the island by the Royal crown in 1611. He moved his family there and named the island after himself and the small bay separating the island from the mainland "Milford Haven" after a similar body of water in his native Wales.
Today the watermen of the Chesapeake Bay are often descendants of the hearty settlers who came to these shores from England in the early 1600s. As they have for generations, these independent fishermen gather the succulent blue crab, Callinectes sapidus, in the warmer months of the year. Availability: Print only orders usually ship in 3-9 days. "Custom Framed" products are made to order by craftsman, so additional time is required. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
