About the Artist: Born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota, the scenic landscape around Lake Superior gave me a beautiful palette of water, sky and forest to inspire my artwork. Over the years, I have lived in a number of places in the United States, but the scenes from the Great Lakes region have remained the main focus of my creativity. I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth. After spending many years working in the graphic arts field, I rediscovered studio art. Using many mediums to create different kinds of artwork, I am currently concentrating on the fine art of oil painting. I work out of my home studio in Carmel, Indiana that overlooks a five-acre pond surrounded by large sky vistas and a plethora of wild waterfowl. Whenever the opportunity arises, I take a working break to go visit my cabin on gorgeous Eagle Lake in Iron River, Wisconsin.
