About the Artist: Meet Tim, a humble and passionate artist who captures nature with fine brushstrokes. His love for art shines through every painting, showcasing a variety of landscapes inspired by firsthand observation of nature. Tim integrates science into his method of painting and is rooted in realism, inspired by The Hudson River School. He has been featured in numerous shows and received various honors, including Best of Show at the 2018 National Oil and Acrylic Painter Society Best of America Exhibit. Tim believes that no art is original, and returns to the original work created by God for inspiration.
About the Art: Aspen colonies are one of my favorite subjects to paint. Above ground we see a group of trees but below the surface the roots spread from the older trees and new trees sprout from the root system. When you see a group of aspens they are tied together and companions for life. This reminds me of human relationships and the connectedness of families.
