About the Artist: John Banovich is among the most renowned international wildlife artists, specializing in large oil paintings of animals from around the world. Banovich studied art and zoology at the University of Montana and holds a degree from the Art Institute of Seattle in Visual Communication. His original oil paintings are owned and exhibited by corporate organizations including; Tudor Investments & The American Patriot Group as well as national museums including;The Wildlife Experience, Hiram Blauvelt, National Cowboy Hall of Fame, The National Museum of Wildlife Art and the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art museum. Banovich is on the board of the Society of Animal Artists, and the Board of Craighead Environmental Research Institute, a featured judge for The Artist`s Magazine and is Master Artist - teaching workshops internationally. He has been featured in national publications including; Africa Geographic, the Artist`s Magazine, Wildlife Art, Art Business News, Big Sky Journal and the African Sporting Gazette. He and His work have been featured on television including the Outdoor Channel, PBS and Outdoor Life Network. Banovich founded the Wildscapes Foundation, which fosters cooperative efforts to conserve the earth`s wild places to benefit the wildlife and the people that live there, raising millions of dollars for conservation and humanitarian causes. Banovich is an award winning artist who hopes that his art will inspire us to protect our wildlife and ensure its survival. He currently lives and works outside of Livingston, Montana in the beautiful Paradise Valley.
