With just enough good footing along its banks to safely come ashore, it seemed the perfect place to tie up, kick back and relax. A pair of bright red canoes, like a beacon, marked the spot and captured the attention and imagination of artist Richard Bollinger. Their brilliant vermillion hulls, reflected in the still waters, and the rich variegated greens of the forest together formed a wonderful palette for this most recent watercolor.
